After two year hiatus, the students at VCC are pleased to welcome you all back to Deaf Deaf World! This year's theme is "Deaf-opoly" based on the famous board-game.
Before COVID, the ASL and Deaf Studies students would host a magical day where-in they would share all that they had learned about Deaf Culture & History over the school year. This hasn't been able to happen for obvious reasons, but we are so very excited to start the tradition anew. There will be food & beverages available, prizes to be won , new people to meet! Bring your best sign language skills, this is a place to learn.
We invite you to come and join us June 4th at the Broadway Campus of Vancouver Community College (VCC). The event will run 11am to 3pm, and admission is by donation. Tickets are not needed at the door, this is a way for us to make sure we have enough food, drink and prizes for all who attend. Please 'buy' one ticket per person attending.
Masks and Vaccines are welcome but not required. Please keep in mind there will be children present so do not come if you show any symptoms of any illness or have been in close contact with someone who has.
